DANGEROUS FOODS

ALL GRAINS should be ELIMINATED from your diet – they contain gluten or similar substances, lectins and phytates that damage your health because they are highly inflammatory:
eliminate wheat  (it is present in bread, pasta, biscuits, cakes, pita bread, breaded foods such as beef a Milanese, beer – look for gluten-free beer – , processed soups, couscous, semolina, etc.),
eliminate corn,
eliminate oats,
eliminate barley (malt),
eliminate rye (rye bread),
eliminate breakfast cereal
, etc.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH FRUTOSE –  they are highly inflammatory:
fruit juices,
canned fruits...


OBS: fruits – such as apples, pears, dates, etc. – should ONLY be eaten in SMALL PORTIONS. Oranges are safer.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH MOST LEGUMES [leguminosas, em português] – they contain lectins and phytates that damage your health because they are highly inflammatory; there are special ways to ferment legumes before consumption, but industrialized products are NOT properly fermented:
soybean (
soy milk, non-dairy creamer, industrialized tofu, soy meat, etc.),
lentils,
peas,
peanuts,
canned beans and chickpeas
, etc.

OBS: beans can be eaten safely if you soak them in salty for at least 24 hours (48 hours are better) before PRESSURE COOK them for at least 30 minutes to break up the toxins.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH POLYUNSATURATED FATS (PUFAS):
margarine, which is the worst kind of fat as it is highly processed: hydrogenated oil under high temperature and pressure,
sunflower oil,
corn oil,
canola oil,
sesame seed oil,
pumpkin oil, etc.

OBS: to be safe, use ONLY coconut oil for cooking and raw olive oil in salads, etc. Any oil cooked in a high temperature until it steams becomes polyunsaturated or trans fat.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH GM FOOD
Do you know what a GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) is?
It is an organism with different properties then those of natural organisms. Some of those properties can be very dangerous. For example, GM corn has a property that makes it resistant to RoundUp, a powerful weed killer and a cancerous product. When RoudUp is spread in a plantation of GM corn, the weeds die; but, the GM corn survives. The problem is that RoundUp impregnates the corn and, if we eat it, we also eat RoudUp. Since most GM foods are also RoundUp resistant, GM foods are a NO, NO!
